Collision Repair

Being in a collision often puts you in a challenging situation, and the last thing you need is extra stress. Our friendly, professional team will go above and beyond to make the repair process as smooth as possible.

Our repair processes require a high level of trust and communication between repairers and assessors. Every repair is different, but our streamlined process generally remains the same. Here’s an idea of what to expect.

Insurance Claims

If you need repairs following a collision. At this stage, insist on Perfect Auto Body as your selected repairer. It’s best to do this before coming in to see us - it makes the process quicker for you, and your claim can be referred to us through your insurer’s online systems.

Once we’ve received your claim, we’ll get in touch within 24 hours to arrange a time to view your vehicle and assess the damage.

The vehicle assessment is done at Perfect Autobody by one of our experienced estimators. Assessments can take up to 30 minutes, depending on the level of damage.

If you have previous damage that isn’t related to your claim incident, we can assess this at the same time and provide a separate quote for the repair.

After your assessment, we’ll book in a time to complete your repair. We may be able to book you in then and there, or we may need a small amount of time to look into parts availability and authorisation from your insurer.

Once the repair is completed, we’ll let you know when your vehicle is ready for pickup. You’ll need to pay your excess on completion of the repair, prior to the vehicle leaving our premises.

We will keep you updated on all expected timeframes as we proceed with repairing your vehicle.

We’ll provide a quote, carry out the repair, and let you know when the vehicle is ready for pickup.
